Roads

We all have our goals in life. We aim for something, yet at times we can't seem to get it. It's too high, you might say.

I always have this motto: Aim High, but Go Further!

At the times we can't get what we aim for, perhaps we just missed it because we used a short-cut. What if we use the long way..and yet can reach it in the end?

This might sound confusing but think of a straight line which symbolises the short-cut you take towards your goal. When you almost reach the goal, there is a dead end. You end up walking back that same road to the starting point and then you use the long winding way around till you reach the goal, which you did.

This is only applicable for certain goals, not all. The long way can be considered as a lesson to teach us something new about life that we never knew about. So do look around for the long road to take (sometimes), and not only concentrate on the short-cuts in life. You'll never know what lies in front of you.
