Holiday Breaks

Time flies.. I could still remember sitting in that big hall with nothing but tables and chairs and a sliding door next to me (since my seat was the first row), and 'sitting' anxiously on my examination papers. The experience was just unforgetable.

Holidays are always looked forward to, especially by students - and adults too - finally a time to rest and shift every attention away from what we normally do. Holidays can be very interesting if we know how to make fill up our time. Some students might hunt for part-time jobs, others stay home and glue themselves to the computer/other electronic devices, and adults will just grab a bag of clothes and disappear somewhere quiet.

Indeed holidays are called "free-time" because there is freedom is what we do! Now that the school holidays are approaching, students will definitely rejoice since books can be left to dust for 2 months. Older teens might grab the chance to meet up with old friends and chat over a cup of coffee..but there is one thing we need to keep in mind while 'holiday-ing'.

Holidays will not last forever. At the end of it, we still need to get back to what we usually do. Students- start of new semester. Adults- back to work. During holidays, it is best not to think about the stress or worries we have on what we usually do. Just take time to relax..and chill. But we need to remind ourselves that we live day by day and we cannot stop the fact that the world is moving. All these worries or whatever stress we have, we need to face them. We cannot just tell ourselves that 'oh, it's holiday, it will go away soon..' No.

Get back to reality after your days of enjoyment. Take back up your responsibilities. You have a life to live, a heart to touch, a soul to save. Do not dissolve yourself into holidays.. Come back to reality when it is time.

Sometimes I wish my holiday is snow-filled.

And yes, it's true, everyone expect problems to dry up during the hols but it's not the case.

So, hols really isn't just a fun time.
